Meet Jackie
How do I describe Distinction Artisan Jewelry? My customers say it’s rustic, organic, masculine, artsy—and yes, beautifully pretty. I’d agree with every word, but I’d also love to hear what you think.
Each piece, including my artisan earrings, is handmade in my home studio, a space that shifts from office by day to jeweler’s workshop by night and weekend. I design handcrafted jewelry that I want to wear—authentic, textured, and full of character—and I’m so grateful that others connect with it too.
Nature and the mountains are my constant muses. You’ll often find their influence in the way I cut bezels to echo a ridgeline or choose stones that capture the raw beauty of earth. Over time, I’ve experimented with countless techniques, but fusing, reticulation, and repoussé have become my favorites. They invite imperfection, asymmetry, and surprise—qualities that give each piece its soul.
I begin with sketches, but the final creation always has its own say, evolving far beyond what’s on paper.
For me, jewelry is more than adornment; it’s a way to anchor a memory, capture a moment, or carry a piece of inspiration forward on life’s journey.

2024 - Artspire Artist Merit Award
I am so proud to receive this award! It was my first time participating in Artspire in La Crosse, and it was an amazing experience showcasing my artisan earrings and handcrafted jewelry, featuring unique jewelry designs.
2023 Art on the Island - 1st Place
I was awarded first place for the Jewelry category in the booth judging during the 2023 Art on the Island event, showcasing my unique jewelry designs, including artisan earrings, as part of the Fond du Lac Artist' Association.
2022 Lake Country Art Festival - 1st Place
I was awarded a free booth for 2023 after taking first place in the booth judging during the 2022 Lake Country Art Festival! I will showcase my unique jewelry designs, including artisan earrings and handcrafted jewelry, and I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, in Naga-waukee Park, Delafield, WI!
2021 Lake Country Art Festival - 3rd Place Fine Art
I am so excited to share that I took 3rd place in the Fine Arts judging category at the July 2021 event! I showcased my unique jewelry designs, including my artisan earrings and handcrafted jewelry. I will be back next year in 2022 for this wonderful one day outdoor art festival!
